JamesM-515 maytag american style fridge freezer service The engineer was excellent in fixing my refrigerator especially after the insurance domestic and general company told us it was a write off because the gas used in whirlpool american fridges is no longer in use. I have since found out this is not the case and this is only because the engineers they are using are not qualified to regas. DaveR-44 American refrigerator repair First class service from this company especially since another company who advertise has not charging a call out fee turned up spending an hour and after not even fixing it tried to charge us some sort of fee for estimate. Anyway kicked him out the door and found this company through the manufacturer they attended and found and rectified the fault in no time. No fuss no hastle a job well done. 07 Jun 2016

PaulZ-4 Liebherr fridge on the blink Glen came very quckly to look at my 4 year old Liebherr fridge freezer. We were desperate as it was saturday morning on a Bank Holdiay weekend. We thought wow, great. He sounded confident he could fix it, saying its probably a sensor blah blah. When he arrived he promptly removed the freezer evaporator cover and pronounced that it is not cooling properly, and the compressor has gone. He said that's Liebherr for you, and that he can do the repair job on Tuesday for another £350 on top of the £100 call out charge, but in his opinion I would be better off buying a new fridge freezer, and not a Liebherr one. What he didn't mention is that if I waited until Tuesday and called Liebherr, they would send a Registered engineer out and fix the problem at the cost of labour (call out fee) only. AGS Refrigeration was a waste of time and money for me. Maybe others might have a better experience. 31 May 2016

GC170213 A Breath of Fresh Air After our Maytag fridge freezer went on the blink last week it was a real breath of fresh air when we found a service engineer who not only came out promptly to fix it on a Saturday but arrived right on time and knew exactly what he was doing. Glen accurately diagnosed the problem within a few minutes of examining the unit, replaced the faulty circuit board, reprogrammed the system and had it up and running in about an hour. Everything is ticking over nicely now and we are very happy with the service provided. Genuinely outstanding and highly recommended. 03 Nov 2015

DAH1968 Great Service! Very knowledgable guy called Glen. Called him about a friend's fridge, he spoke with me at length about possible problems and outlined his costs, which were surprisingly reasonable, I felt. Booked an appointment, Glen turned up promptly within agreed time after keeping us updated by phone on his progress. He had the spare we needed and the work was carried out expertly. Bernice25 Thank You! I woke to find my fridge freezer not working and tried to find someone to help me. AGS were recommended by the Mumsnet website and had given a good review. I called the company and they came out within hours and diagnosed the problem. I was extremely impressed. The man that came out was polite and very helpful and went the extra mile to try and source a new part for me, whilst giving me helpful advice in the interim. He correctly identified what the cause of the problem could be between 2 things over the phone prior to coming out and was correct about the fault. Even though I have not been able to source the part required at the moment, I have been given excellent advice on what I can do to keep my fridge freezer working until I can get the part. Would highly recommend this company to family and friends and would use again if I had a similar problem. The service was excellent, hence the 5 stars! 23 Aug 2014

RWMSutton Samsung Fridge/Freezer repair Having searched the net for a company willing and able to repair my American style fridge/freezer I came across AGS. Having spoken with Glen Scotland he promised to come out the same day, give me half hours warning of his arrival and a n idea of costs if what he thought was wrong was actually wrong. True to his word he arrived when he said and completed the repair within half an hour at the agreed price. Should I need a repair of this nature in the future I shall not bother calling anyone else. 14 Jul 2014

raffjones Good knowledge of Samsung and fast service First thing I have to say was that I had replaced the twin cooling panel on our Samsung RS21 DCNS, as so many forums had suggested that was the problem. Within seconds on the phone to AGS, Glen said this was NOT the problem, and had diagnosed the fault correctly, saying this was what happens to a lot of people with Samsung fridges. And he was right. "Same day service" is a selling point on their site, and same day service it was - Glen came round and replaced the defrost heater. Our fridge has now been completely sorted for a couple of weeks - and it was a fair price considering the parts required. I just wish I'd called AGS before attempting the DIY route... would have saved a lot of time, money and hassle. Highly recommended if you live in London. 07 Jul 2014
